About Machine Learning Us

The machine is a computer. Us is mankind.

Machine learning is a way to program a computer to learn from data. You can literally program a computer to find patterns in data, or optimize data, or more.

Us are a bunch of people pumping data into the world faster then ever before. We track food with our smartphones, we wear armbands track our activity, we track our thoughts with text using twitter, facebook, blogs, evernote, and more.

The ways that the computer can learn from our data to predict us, find patterns about us, see us (computer vision), and optimize us is interesting to me.

About Me

This site is authored by Mark Wielgus (me). I have a high school diploma but no college education. I have no professional credentials. My credentials are simply that I'm fascinated by these subjects.

I'm 37 and live in Kentucky, Usa. I'm married with a 3 year old boy. I am a php programmer.
